^National Exposure Research Laboratory POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCHER RECRUITMENT Exciting Opportunities in Exposure Science The National Exposure Research Laboratory (NERL), part of the United States Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Research and Development, is seeking to fill 22 federal post-doctoral research positions. NERL has opportunities for conducting high priority research in areas including atmospheric chemistry and transport modeling, urban scale atmospheric dispersion modeling, spatially explicit population risk assessment, biogeochemical processing, exposure pathway modeling, chemical exposure and biotransformation, atmospheric laboratory and field measurement methodologies, atmospheric deposition, ecosystem services research and climate change research, human exposure to air pollutants, ecological modeling, and exposure pathways for hydraulic fracturing. NERL post-doctoral positions will be in Divisions in one or more of the following locations: Research Triangle Park, N.C.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Las Vegas, Nev.; or Athens, Ga. Start dates are flexible beginning in March 2011 and preferred by September 2011. Appointments are for three-year terms, with full Federal employee benefits and salaries ranging from $68,809 - $92,890 (subject to increase in January 2011). Benefits also include paid relocation to EPA duty location, vacation and sick leave, Federal health benefits and retirement program, and travel to professional and scientific meetings.
