The Milltown Project continues to go very well and is
on schedule.

Remediation

•	Completed seeding and mulching the repository near the site of the former
Milltown powerhouse

•	Completed seeding and mulching on the Bonner Development Group (BD<5) park
property (borrow area)

•	Continued construction of the storm water drainage system for Tunnel Pond (now
Tunnel "Hill") repository

•	Seeded and mulched the Tunnel Hill repository

•	Completed soil amendments at the Sheriff's Posse grounds

•	Continue site monitoring of berms, bypass channel, and other site infrastructure

•	Working to install replacement compliance well (#11)

Hauling material from upstream to on-site repositories as part of site restoration, 7/14/2010.

Restoration

•	Clark Fork River channel and f loodplain construction completed in the project area

•	Removing material from upstream of the old Duck Bridge and placing in the on-site
repositories. A total of approximately 300,000 cubic yards will be removed; work
should be complete in October 2010.

•	Vegetation monitoring underway. The State contracted with the University of
Montana and Seum Consulting to set up line transects that can be used for the
next several years to monitor the revegetation progress in the Restoration
Project areas.

•	Working on plans to integrate the current Clark Fork River channel with the new
Clark Fork River Channel
