1)	WQX 3.0 Release Date is March 31, 2020

The final review of WQX 3.0 schema is available at:
ftp ://newftp. epa. gov/ storet/wqx/draft/schemav3

The CDX staging environment will be ready for test submissions to the new schema on
will March 2, 2020. The new release is on schedule for a full release date in March.
Kevin is working with the Exchange Network to schedule the release date.

The impact of this release is minimal. The schema has new elements. Most are optional.
Users will need to conform to the new schema if they choose to use the new elements.
There are a few that are there to support macroinvertebrate data that are conditionally
assigned. There are two fields depreciated for 3.0 but the fully compatible 3.0 version
will be packaged with version 2.2 in order for it to be backwards compatible.

The Rest API will also be conformed to the new schema. Users will only need to make
changes to their import configurations if they choose to use the new elements in WQX
3.0. The WQX Web interface will not change; however, the new WQX 3.0 elements will
work in WQX Web.

Questions regarding the release should be directed to the WQX Help Desk.

2)	Dashboard Summary Services -

The WQP has built a services that provides summary information for all monitoring
locations in a state, county, etc. Dwane built a proof of concept that summarizes the data
in an Excel spreadsheet. It pulls the WQP summary data from the past five years. It is a
good tool to check recent data loads. It has 3D map capability that runs on top of Bing
not ArcGIS.

This works in Excel 2016 and requires PowerBuilder. Macros must be enabled. It has
3D Map capability that runs on top of Bing not ArcGIS.

The tool can be found at: ftp://newftp.epa.gov/storet/xfer/todav/

Dwane asked the user community to try out the tool and provide feedback.

> Action: Provide documents for summary services.
