PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Baltimore City Water Infrastructure Rehabilitation 2020 will rehabilitate pumps and filters at the
Montebello and Ashburton Pumping Stations. The purpose of the projects is to address reliability,
improve performance of the water distribution system, and provide direct public health benefits such as
improved drinking water quality and reduction of waterborne diseases.

Selected projects must submit an application for a WIFIA loan, pass a creditworthiness assessment,
negotiate a mutually agreeable term sheet, and execute a credit agreement to receive WIFIA funding.
An invitation to apply indicates that EPA believes the selected projects will be able to attain WIFIA loans.
