PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Ellicott City Safe & Sound Plan is a compilation of multiple projects in the Tiber-Hudson watershed
that will construct four dry stormwater mitigation ponds, install two 10-ft diameter pipes, and
implement other miscellaneous West End pipe and channel improvements. The purpose of these
projects is to better mitigate stormwater and keep more water off Main Street.

Selected projects must submit an application for a WIFIA loan, pass a creditworthiness assessment,
negotiate a mutually agreeable term sheet, and execute a credit agreement to receive WIFIA funding.
An invitation to apply indicates that EPA believes the selected projects will be able to attain WIFIA loans.
