Is the threshold for individual components or the overall grant? a. Any grant receiving less than $250,000 in federal funding (EPA funding in the case of this grant) is exempt from complying with BABA. The threshold pertains to the total grant, not individual components. More information can be found at https://www.epa.gov/cwsrf/build-america-buv-america-baba 2) Can an applicant submit multiple applications for different projects? a. Yes. An applicant can submit multiple applications. They will all be evaluated independently. 3) Which kinds of previously conducted/on-going grants should be used to demonstrate past performance as required by the mandatory documents portion of the RFA? a. Any previously conducted or on-going grant can be used to document performance. However, the list need not be exhaustive and should focus particularly on grants most relevant (size, scope, topic area) to this grant opportunity. 4) Can entities from outside of Rhode Island apply for this grant? a. Yes. The only requirement is that any work conducted under the grant occur in and benefit Rhode Island. Organizations from outside of Rhode Island are encouraged to apply. 5) Can an applicant propose a project below the stated $310,000 minimum grant size? a. Yes. An applicant can submit a proposal for a grant of less than $310,000. ------- |
