Outreach efforts spread awareness across the Agency about the Scientific Integrity Policy and

To continually assess the awareness and implementation of the Scientific Integrity Policy, EPA
launches a scientific integrity survey approximately every two years. Click here to view the

Visibility

Keeping scientific integrity visible is vital to the creation of a healthy culture of scientific
integrity across EPA. The Agency's Scientific Integrity website conveys scientific integrity
information to the public, including resources, publications, and the Scientific Integrity Policy.

To further increase visibility, EPA hosts its Scientific Integrity Stakeholder and Partner Meetings
every two years. These public stakeholder meetings provide opportunities for stakeholders to
hear from the Scientific Integrity Official and to comment on or ask questions about scientific

Implementation

Implementing the Scientific Integrity Policy is most effective when all employees, contractors,
grantees, and student volunteers understand the Policy and their responsibilities for enhancing
EPA's culture of scientific integrity. Training through online modules, and both virtual and in
person sessions connects individuals with the necessary resources to ensure that scientific

EPA focuses on prevention by providing timely advice or assistance from the Scientific Integrity
Official, the Deputy Scientific Integrity Officials and immediate supervisors. Click here to learn
