The U.S. EPA Landfill Methane Outreach Program (LMOP) is pleased to announce that
we will be presenting and exhibiting at the Solid Waste Association of North America
(SWANA)'s Sustainability. Operations, Action. Resources. (SOAR) event, to be held
in April of 2023, in Atlanta, Georgia. Please visit the SOAR website for information
about this event including the schedule and how to register.

LMOP will present on "New Policies And Programs Impacting Landfill Methane
Reduction And Avoidance" the afternoon of Wednesday, April 19, 2023. We will
discuss how renewed emphasis on achieving methane reductions is driving incentives
for energy recovery projects, which can help landfills recoup the costs of collection
systems.

We will be at Exhibit Space #326 during Exhibit Hall hours—if you attend SOAR 2023,
we hope you will stop by our booth to catch up on our latest resources, provide
updates on your landfill or project, or ask any questions you may have LMOP was
pleased to recently welcome Klara Zimmerman to the LMOP team; Klara was previously
an ORISE Fellow on the EPA Office of Water's Creating Resilient Water Utilities team.
Both Klara and Lauren Aepli will be in attendance.
