Indoor airPLUS certified homes and apartments must be certified through an EPA-recognized Home
Certification Organization (HCO) in accordance with the Indoor airPLUS program requirements
identified below. Refer to the Implementation Timeline within the National Program Requirements to
determine the Version and, if applicable, the Revision that is required to be used for each home or
apartment.

Indoor airPLUS Program Policy Record
EPA periodically updates the program requirements in response to partner questions and standard
revisions. These updates are contained in the Indoor airPLUS Program Policy Record. Any change or
clarification published by EPA can be applied immediately.
Indoor airPLUS Quality Assurance Checklists
The following documents provide guidance for an HCO's quality assurance personnel during quality
assurance file review and field evaluation.
