Selectees

SELECTION: MAY 2024

Upon receipt of official selection notification from EPA,
selectees can proceed with purchasing replacement
buses, charging infrastructure, and other eligible
expenses in accordance with Section 3 of the 2023
CSB Rebates Program Guide (PG).	J

Selectees review the CSB Rebates weboage
for FAQs, important dates, rebate forms,
webinars, and resource documents. Please
contact cleanschoolbus@epa.gov with any
programmatic questions.

PAYMENT REQUEST: MAY-NOV 2024

Selectees must submit Payment Request Forms
with order documentation demonstrating that
replacement buses, charging infrastructure, and
other eligible expenses outlined in Section 8 of the PG
have been ordered before receiving funds from EPA.





INFRASTRUCTURE & TRAINING

If your rebate includes charging infrastructure or workforce
development, review Section 3 of the PG and begin planning as
soon as possible. Please contact cleanschoolbusTA(a)nrel.gov A
to be connected with your utility provider or with any
other technical assistance questions.

DELIVERY & SCRAPPAGE

Upon delivery, put replacement buses into service and engage
vour community. Then, document scrappage, sale, or donation
of the existing buses as outlined in Section 9 of the PG. Existing
buses must be replaced by the closeout deadline, but can
overlap with replacement buses if needed.	J

CLOSEOUT: MAY 2026

Deadline to complete projects and
submit Close Out Forms as outlined
in Section 10 of the PG. Eligible selectees
should also complete any tasks necessary
to receive available tax credits.
