Join Our Pest. Patrol:

Backyard Activity Book
Summer is right around the
corner, which means fun
outside... and mosquitos.

As you think about the best
way to deal with pests in
your garden or lawn, you
may want to consider
integrated pest management
(IPM). Under "IPM", your
pesticide choices

are informed by an effective and environmentally
sensitive approach to pest management that relies on
a combination of common-sense practices, using
pesticides only as needed. Our backyard activity book
is full of fun activities that teach students about pest
identity, biology and ecology. It also helps students
understand the impact that personal choices can have
on our environment.
