STANDARD TEST METHODS FOR FLASH POINT BY SETAFLASH (SMALL SCALE) CLOSED-CUP APPARATUS

See American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) Standards D3278-78 and D8174-18 for these
method procedures used in the characterization of the flash point of liquids. These standards are two of
five required method options for determination of the ignitability characteristic in liquid wastes, see 40
CFR 261.21(a)(1).

https://www.astm.org. Currently, the ASTM D3278-78 standard can be obtained from Global
