Regulations and End-Use Specifications Explorer (REUSExplorer) BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The Regulations and End-Use Specifications Explorer (REUSExplorer) compiles state-level regulations and guidelines for different sources of water and reuse applications to assist states interested in developing regulations and help utilities and practitioners to better understand current regulations. There are no federal level water reuse regulations. The states have primacy to develop their own water reuse regulations to supplement the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act. States have different levels of resources, knowledge, and staff to perform assessments of different sources of water for reuse applications and develop regulations and guidelines. The REUSExplorer is available at https://www.epa.gov/reusexplorer SEARCH FOR SUMMARIES OF STATE REGULATIONS State Sources of Water 0 Reuse Application 0 Arizona California Colorado Florida Georgia Idaho Massachusetts Minnesota Montana STATE SUMMARIES Provides users with a summary of the state regulations/guidelines with links to the official state language.
