Open Discussion • From last meeting: Microcystin data submissions review • Other topics/questions Minutes: 1) WQX Project Status Report Overall, the helpdesk email inbox has seen fairly low volume traffic, recently. The WQX development team is still fully engaged on completing upgrades initiated by the log4j vulnerability. Again, WQX did not have the log4j vulnerability, but upgrades were required nonetheless. As part of this upgrade, WQX will be moving to a new server. There are several other significant upgrades expected to be completed this quarter including an NGN node upgrade. We will notify the user community of any expected interruptions to the WQX service. There was an interruption to the Test environment in the last month, but that has been repaired and it has now been upgraded to match Production. 2) WQP Status Report The new WQP data profiles are still being finalized, but they are in final review. The WQP development team will be able to give us a better estimate of delivery to the Ul once they have the final profiles in their hands, which will likely be on the order of several months. However, the wait will likely be on the Ul development side, so the new profiles may be available as services prior to being in the Ul. We reviewed where to find the current data profile and profile field definitions on the new WQP website, which are currently accessible via drop-down tables on the User Guide page. https://www.waterqualitvdata.us/portal userguide/ We also reviewed a few of the most commonly reported user issues on thew new WQP Ul and we noted that they would be considered and addressed during the next Ul development push (likely several months until start). There was no new information on the ArcGis Online WFS issues. WQX User Call - February 24, 2022 1 ------- 3) Open Discussion Last meeting, there was a request to review Microcystin data submitted to WQX/WQP. All microcystin data from the last 5 years was downloaded and made available for review in data dashboards. Two dashboards, one based on the Activity profile, and one on the Results profile, were reviewed to see how Microcystin data are being collected and reported. All data discovered were water media sample chemical data, no tissue or toxicity data was found to be submitted over the last five years. No other issues were raised, so the meeting moved to adjournment. 4) Adjournment The meeting was closed at 12:40 PM. Next meeting is scheduled for Mar 24, 2022 at 12 PM EST.
