2013-2014 College and University Green Power Challenge Throughout the 2013-14 academic year, EPA's Green Power Partnership will track the collegiate athletic conferences with the highest combined green power usage in the nation. The Green Power Challenge is open to all U.S. colleges, universities, and conferences. In the spring of 2014, EPA will conclude the Green Power Challenge and recognize a Champion Green Power Conference as well as the largest single green power users within each participating conference as 201 3-14 EPA Green Power Challenge conference champions. To be listed, a conference must have at least one Green Power Partner and an aggregate green power purchase of at least 10,000,000 kilowatt-hours across the conference. Conference affiliations were determined by each individual conference website as of October 30, 2013. This list is current as of January 20, 2014. The next and final update to the 2013-14 College & University Green Power Challenge will be in April 201 4. Competing Conferences 1.
