Current Site Uses: A granite fabricator facility currently operates on site. Parking and storage areas are located on the west side of the site. Use Restrictions: Groundwater use is prohibited. SETTING: • The site is zoned for industrial land uses. • The site is bordered to the north, east, and west by commercial and industrial uses, including a steel products company, a wholesale retailer and a mortar production facility. • As of December 2017,. This business employed 5 people and generated an estimated $589,000 in annual sales revenue. • Surrounding population: 0.5 mile, 1,811 people 2.5 miles, 69,833 people | 4 miles, 168,767 people. REMEDIAL STATUS: • The City Chemical Company operated a waste management facility on site from 1971 to 1983. Its operations resulted in soil and groundwater contamination. General classes of waste handled included chlorinated and non-chlorinated organic solvents, paint and varnish wastes, acid/alkaline plating wastes and waste ink.
