Site Name: Wilson Concepts of Florida, Inc. Superfund Site
Size: 2 acres

Existing Site Infrastructure: All major utilities are available on site.

Current Site Uses: A sheet metal manufacturing facility is located on site.
Use Restrictions: None.

SETTING:

•	Precision Metal Industries, a sheet metal manufacturer,
currently operates on site.

•	The site and its surroundings are zoned for
industrial uses.

•	The site is located less than a half-mile west of U.S.
Interstate 95.

•	A linen cleaning and delivery service borders the site to
the north, a construction materials company borders the
site to the south, and a fiberglass manufacturing company
borders the site to the east. The Chemform Inc. Superfund
site borders the site to the west.

•	As of December 2017, EPA had data for one on-site
business. This business generated an estimated $24 million
in annual sales revenue.

•	Surrounding population: 0.5 miles, 1,047 people
2.5 miles, 78,764 people | 4 miles, 203,473 people.

REMEDIAL STATUS:

•	Wilson Concepts operated a precision parts
manufacturing facility on site from 1967 to 1987.
Waste handling practices resulted in soil and
groundwater contamination.

•	EPA placed the site on the National Priorities Tist (NPL)
in 1989.

•	After further investigation, EPA determined that
the site did not pose a risk to human health or
the environment.

•	EPA took the site off theNPLin 1995 after site groundwater
met federal drinking water standards.
