List of FY 2023 Brownfield Technical Assistance Grant Selections EPA is announcing the selection of 11 new cooperative agreements for Technical Assistance to Brownfields Communities (TAB). TAB providers selected for these cooperative agreements will provide a variety of technical assistance to communities and stakeholders to help address their brownfield sites, and to increase their understanding and involvement in brownfields cleanup, revitalization, and reuse. The training and research to be delivered by the selected TAB providers will assist communities in cleaning up and reusing contaminated brownfield properties, while leveraging jobs and protecting people's health and the environment. Each award selection for the 10 EPA regions is $5 million and the Nationwide award selection is $3 million. EPA selected 5 TAB providers that include the University of Connecticut (UCONN), West Virginia University Research Corporation (WVRC), New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), Kansas State University (KSU), and The Center for Creative Land Recycling (CCLR).
